Recently, my sister Ashley (a.k.a. “Noodle”) competed in the Special Olympics District Bocce Ball competition in Batavia, IL and won a gold in Bocce Singles! She will compete in the Special Olympics State Summer Games at Illinois State University on June 14. We are so proud of her! Way to go, Ashley!

So that was weird…rumblings from an earthquake this morning! We woke up at 5:30 this morning in total confusion and found out an earthquake was shaking our house! Good thing a pipe didn’t burst like we thought! A good way to kick off the weekend!
